And that is why we need diversity in workplaces. Cause if the same'type' of people are employed no one else fits and the product or service you provide only fits one type.

Exactly. When you only hire the same kind of thinker, you end up creating things (and systems) that only fit a fraction of the people they're meant to serve. Healthcare’s a perfect example of this. As you'll know, drugs were only tested on men for decades, and real harm followed because even the most obvious human variation wasn’t factored in. Evolution doesn’t optimise for the average, it relies on variation. And any organisation that wants to survive in this constantly changing world should be doing the same.
